Job Description

The GRC Product Owner is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering solutions that support the organization’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance objectives. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring that GRC platforms and tools align with regulatory requirements, risk management strategies, and organizational goals. The positions will be performed onsite in Washington, DC 5 days a week without remote work options.

US citizenship is required and we are only considering candidates that live within a 50 mile radius of D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy – Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for GRC solutions.
  • Backlog Management – Work Scrum Masters to translate compliance, risk, and governance requirements into actionable user stories and prioritize them to maximize business value and risk reduction.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with compliance officers, risk managers, IT teams, and business leaders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Delivery Oversight – Work closely with development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features and enhancements.
  • Regulatory Alignment – Monitor evolving regulations and industry standards to ensure GRC tools remain compliant and effective.
  • Continuous Improvement – Analyze product performance, gather feedback, and iterate to enhance usability, automation, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 Years of proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within GRC, compliance, or risk management domains.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Knowledge of Federal Reserve Board principles and practices

  • Knowledge of the Federal Reserve Board’s SharePoint content administration

Salary: $169,181 - $178,085
