About Product Operations & Strategy at Alma

Product Operations & Strategy helps the Product & Engineering organization scale by improving how we operate, measure impact, and enable teams with the right systems. A growing part of our mission is to make Alma’s Product organization AI driven by identifying high-value internal use cases and bringing them to life with strong execution and measurable outcomes.

About the Job

We are looking for a Product Operations & Strategy Intern to support key initiatives across Product, with a strong focus on AI workflows. You will work closely with the product team, and cross-functional stakeholders to help deliver internal AI solutions from discovery to rollout, while also supporting team on transversal initiatives.

This role is ideal if you like turning ambiguous problems into concrete workflows, testing fast, and making solutions usable and adopted in real teams.

Your missions

  • Contribute to the delivery of internal AI initiatives end-to-end : framing the problem, defining success criteria, supporting build and rollout, and iterating based on usage and feedback.
  • Help structure and maintain datasets, sources, and evaluation methods to improve AI output quality (accuracy, relevance, usefulness).
  • Support prompt and workflow design, documentation, and change management to ensure internal AI tools are usable and reliable.
  • Set up lightweight tracking to monitor adoption and impact (usage, satisfaction, recurring failure modes), and synthesize insights for stakeholders.
  • Run user interviews and pilot sessions with internal teams to identify opportunities, test solutions, and prioritize improvements.
  • Contribute toProduct operations & strategy projects (non exhaustive) depending on team priorities and your interests.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Design, and go-to-market stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.

About You

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Business, Engineering, Data/Analytics, Computer Science, or related).
  • Available for a 6-month internship
  • Strong interest in AI and automation topics and tools.
  • Comfortable with data and experimentation (define simple metrics, analyze results).
  • Structured and detail-oriented (able to think in workflows and systems).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great communicator and team player, able to collaborate across teams.
  • Interest in tech / start-up / scale-up environments.
  • Fluent in French and English
