About the Role
The Product Operations Manager will own and improve the product operating system that powers GDX. This role will drive launch readiness, structured execution of key programs, and scalable content operations. You will partner closely with Product Leadership to create consistent ways of planning, measuring, and launching products. This role is not about project tracking. It is about productleverage
This role requires strong end-to-end ownership, critical thinking, and product judgment. The right candidate will proactivelyidentifygaps, challenge assumptions, and improve how teams make product decisions, not just how they execute.
In this role, you will also manage a small team, helping them grow, stay aligned to priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Product Operations and Customer Readiness
Build and run clear operating rhythms, updates, and documentation across Product, Engineering, PMM, Client Success, and Communications to improve alignment and launch readiness.
Proactivelyidentifygaps, risks, dependencies, and ownership issues, and drive resolution before theyimpactdelivery or customer outcomes
Bring customer feedback, usage data, and operational signals into product planning, and use structured problem solving to improve decisions and trade-offs.
Lead Content Operations at Scale
Own and improve content tagging, taxonomy, and metadata operations to support discovery, adoption, and engagement across digital platforms.
Build scalable workflows, quality checks, and standards that improve content accuracy, consistency, and discoverability.
Use content and experience data toidentifygaps, improve the user experience, and influence product and operational priorities.
Lead and develop the Team (PeopleManagement)
Lead a small Product Ops team (2-3 direct reports).
Set clear goals, priorities, and expectations for the team.
Provide coaching, feedback, and career development support.
Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coach team members to think beyond task execution by building stronger ownership, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
What You Need
5 to 7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Strategy, or Platform Operations, with at least 1 year of people management or strong dotted-line leadership experience.
Strong understanding of digital product discovery and delivery, with solid product management fundamentals such as problem framing, prioritization, trade-off thinking, and defining success metrics.
Strong end-to-end ownership mindset, with the ability to independently drive ambiguous work from problem definition to outcome.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into clear insights,identifygaps, challenge assumptions, and surface risks early.
Experience building or improving product development processes and simplifying complex problems into repeatable systems.
Ability to influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Service.
Experience leading multiple programs at the same time, with a practical problem-solving and hands-on approach.
Strong written and presentation communication skills, with comfort working in ambiguity and driving clarity across teams.
