About the role
Joining us as an Event Lead (Product Operations), you will drive the successfulplanningandoperational deliveryof Tennis Australia (TA) and Australian Open (AO) official events.You will leadend-to-end event operationsacross a diverseportfolioof events, ensuringexceptionalexperiencesare delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
This rolerequiresahighlyorganised and solutions-focused event professionalwho can confidently lead cross-functional project teams.Supporting the Event Manager, you willbe responsible for
Leading the operational planning and delivery of TA and AO official events, ensuringobjectivesare met, budgets are managed effectively, and programs are delivered to a high standard
Leading production, catering and creative requirements, working closely with the Live Events team to ensure cohesive, high-quality event outcomes
Driving project governancebyfacilitatingproject group meetings, clearly definingresponsibilities,coordinating key operational elements across venues, content, marketingbrandintegration, guestexperienceandlogistics,ensuringtimelydelivery
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, suppliers,venuesand talent to ensure successful event execution
Coordinating with key stakeholders to produce event documentation including project plans, run sheets and event orders
Overseeing on-site event operations,providing real-time problem solving,and ensuring all events are delivered to abest-in-classstandard
Managing event budgets, financial tracking, procurement processes,and post event reporting and reconciliation
Identifyingopportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiencyandcontributeto the ongoing evolution ofevents
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring
3+ years’ experience delivering events, with a strong focus on corporate-style event environments
Demonstratedexperienceplanning anddelivering large-scale,complexor high-profile eventsfrom concept through to delivery
Proven ability to perform under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills across a range of levels
Demonstrated capability in managing budgets and timelines witha high levelof accuracy
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Checkand Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
