Job Description

About the role

This internship is a hands-on introduction to how a global Product organisation operates. You will work with the Director of Product Operations and partner with teams across Product and the wider business to help improve how we plan, launch, communicate and make decisions.

The role is focused on Product Operations rather than owning a product roadmap. You will get practical exposure to launch readiness, product operating rhythms, reporting and insight, process improvement, cross-functional execution and the use of AI to make Product Operations more effective.

What you'll be doing

  • Support product operating rhythms by preparing materials, maintaining trackers, capturing actions and helping teams stay aligned on priorities, milestones and decisions.
  • Help improve launch readiness across product initiatives by tracking key milestones, risks, dependencies and actions with Product and cross-functional teams.
  • Build useful reporting and insight by maintaining dashboards, bringing together data and turning updates into clear information that helps teams make decisions.
  • Improve how we work by documenting processes, creating practical templates and playbooks, and identifying opportunities to simplify or scale recurring Product Operations activities.
  • Explore practical uses of AI within Product Operations, including ways to improve knowledge sharing, reporting, analysis, workflow automation and decision support.
  • Support cross-functional communication so Product, Technology, Commercial, Marketing and other teams have clear and consistent information when they need it.
  • Own defined pieces of work from problem definition through to delivery, with coaching and support from the team.

What you'll learn

  • How a global Product organisation plans, prioritises, launches and measures its work.
  • How Product Operations creates scalable ways of working across multiple teams and functions.
  • How to use data, reporting and structured problem solving to support better decisions.
  • How AI can be applied to real Product Operations workflows and business problems.
  • How to communicate with stakeholders, manage dependencies and drive work forward in a complex organisation.
  • How product teams operate inside a global travel technology business.

Who we're looking for

We're hiring for potential, curiosity and how you approach problems. You do not need previous Product Management or Product Operations experience.

  • Currently studying towards a degree or equivalent qualification, with an interest in product, technology, business, data or operations.
  • Structured and organised, with the ability to manage several pieces of work and keep track of detail.
  • Analytical and comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and information from different sources.
  • A clear communicator who is comfortable asking questions and working with people across different teams.
  • Curious about AI and willing to experiment with new tools and ways of working.
  • Able to take ownership, follow through on actions and ask for help when needed.
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment where priorities can move quickly.

Useful, but not essential

  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Exposure to dashboards, analytics, project management, product development or Agile ways of working.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, productivity or automation.
  • Any project, society, volunteering or work experience that shows you can organise work and collaborate with others.
