What you’ll do

You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:

• Monitor sports events, betting activity, liabilities, and risk exposure in real time
• Manage positions across sports to optimise profitability and minimise risk
• Perform customer analysis and support bet limit decisions
• Investigate market trends and competitor activity to inform trading actions
• Make real-time adjustments and recommendations to improve performance
• Act as a key point of contact for sportsbook-related queries and escalations
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
• Monitor sportsbook platform health and support business protection efforts
• Conduct product and customer experience testing, including UAT activities
• Support the resolution of large-scale product or operational issues
• Maintain strong awareness of sportsbook operations, including fixtures, settlement, and results
• Perform end-to-end platform testing to ensure quality and accuracy
• Support sportsbook configuration and operational setup
• Contribute to broader business activities, including after-hours support where required

What you’ll bring

You’re someone who brings:

• Strong knowledge of sports and the sports betting industry
• Understanding of live trading and pre-match betting environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with numbers and data-driven insights
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

• Experience in sportsbook trading or product operations environments
• Understanding of betting risk management and liability control
• Familiarity with sportsbook platforms and operational tools
• Exposure to customer behaviour analysis within betting or gaming environments
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in betting
