About the team
Local Service supports TikTok’s vertical local services search business, serving global users’ local service discovery needs. Centered on user intent understanding, the team conducts user-centric experience evaluations and assesses model and strategy capabilities to identify key gaps and opportunities in search performance. In close partnership with Product and Engineering, we define, optimize, and iterate search product features and strategies to deliver accurate, high-quality local content and services, driving better user experience and business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate search user experience from the user’s perspective, and identify opportunities to improve for product features and strategies, collaborating with PM and RD teams and driving improvements of the key product metrics;
- Conduct local user research, gather and analyze search user feedback data, and provide real user insights for product decision-making;
- Monitor and analyze core metrics to detect experience fluctuations and issues in a timely manner, ensuring stable online user experience;
- Design and implement proactive operational plans for special scenarios or major events, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure efficient implementation and achievement of business goals.
- Manage and adapt to ad-hoc projects and urgent business requests efficiently, demonstrating flexibility and proactive problem-solving.
- Iterate search strategy and product features to improve user experience and conversion, design and analyze a/b testing and verify the benefits as needed.
