ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a data-driven and commercially minded Product Monetization Specialist to drive sustainable revenue growth for our music app across both in-app advertising and in-app purchases.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify monetization opportunities, develop product hypotheses, manage monetization initiatives, and continuously optimize the user journey. You will be responsible for balancing revenue growth with user engagement, retention, and the overall music experience.
You will monitor monetization performance, conduct market and competitor research, lead experiments, and translate insights into actionable product improvements that increase ARPDAU, conversion, and user lifetime value.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Data Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor, collect, and analyze user behavior and monetization data across IAA and IAP. Identify revenue opportunities, diagnose performance changes, and transform insights into actionable product recommendations.
- IAA Monetization Optimization: Optimize ad formats, placements, timing, frequency, pacing, and rewarded-ad experiences. Improve advertising revenue while protecting user retention, engagement, and satisfaction.
- IAP & Subscription Optimization: Improve paywalls, pricing, product packages, subscription plans, trials, promotions, and purchase funnels to increase payer conversion, renewal, and revenue per payer.
- Experimentation: Develop clear product hypotheses and lead A/B tests across ad logic, paywalls, pricing, offers, subscription plans, and user segmentation. Evaluate results using revenue metrics and engagement guardrails.
- Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on music, audio, entertainment, and subscription apps. Analyze competitor monetization models, pricing, paywalls, ad experiences, and premium benefits to identify applicable opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Development, UX/UI Design, Data, Marketing, User Acquisition, Ad Operations, Quality Control, and Finance teams to deliver monetization initiatives efficiently and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Working experiences:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in product monetization, product management, growth product, or a related role within mobile apps.
- Strong knowledge of product experimentation, A/B testing, cohort analysis, user segmentation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven expertise in app design, user engagement, and monetization strategies for diverse revenue models (ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, etc.).
- Strong understanding of mobile app technologies, app performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to independently conduct research and stay updated on mobile app industry trends.
