
The Product Specialist - Flooring Portfolio supports the successful management and execution of the flooring product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle. This role partners with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to coordinate product launches, maintain product data and reporting, support portfolio performance analysis, and ensure accurate product information across business systems. The position plays a key role in delivering operational excellence, supporting commercial initiatives, and driving cross-functional collaboration to help achieve business growth objectives.
Additional Information:
This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113 or our East Hartford Lab in CT or our VAST Lab in MN, with at least 10% travel.

Product Lifecycle Administration
Support the ongoing management of the HPF/Flooring Product Portfolio
Maintain product master data, specifications, and portfolio databases.
Coordinate product setup and changes within business systems.
Track product lifecycle milestones and action items.
Support SKU rationalization and product discontinuation activities.
Assist with product forecasts and portfolio reviews.
Generate reporting related to portfolio performance.
Maintain/update Packaging – labels, containers etc.
Product Launch Execution
Support implementation of new product introductions and product change initiatives.
Coordinate launch timelines and project deliverables.
Maintain launch readiness checklists.
Collaborate with Marketing Communications on launch materials.
Coordinate product sample requests and promotional materials.
Support testing and certification documentation requirements.
Track post-launch action items and performance metrics.
3. Sales and Marketing Support
Provide tactical support to commercial and marketing teams.
Maintain product presentations, brochures, data sheets, and marketing collateral.
Respond to routine product inquiries from regional sales teams.(CRM, Direct)
Assist with competitor product comparisons and market intelligence gathering.
Coordinate customer-facing product information updates.
Support webinars, trade shows, and customer events.
Assist in preparing sales training materials.
4. Supply Chain and Operational Coordination
Support product availability and operational execution.
Coordinate product supply and inventory-related communications.
Assist with product transfer and technical transfer projects.
Monitor product availability issues and escalate as required.
Support demand planning and forecasting activities.
Coordinate cross-functional meetings and action item tracking.
Maintain product-related documentation and records.
5. Reporting and Portfolio Analytics
Provide accurate reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
Prepare monthly portfolio performance reports.
Track sales, volume, margin, and market share trends.
Support pricing analysis initiatives.
Maintain dashboards and KPI reporting tools.
Compile competitive intelligence and market data.
Generate ad hoc business reports for leadership.
Additional Skills & Experience:
Technical background in coatings, construction materials, or resin flooring technologies
Experience coordinating cross-functional projects.
Familiarity with regulatory testing and certification processes.
Experience working within a global organization.
Product lifecycle management systems.
ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
CRM systems and business intelligence tools.
Microsoft 365
Data analysis and reporting.
Project coordination and administration.
Document management and record control.
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or Marketing.
Have five (5) years of experience in product management, marketing, technical service, project management, customer support, or sales support.
