The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic positioning, pricing intelligence, and competitive differentiation of the company’s access solutions. The role focuses on translating product capabilities and market insights into effective marketing strategies that support sales growth, strengthen brand positioning, and increase market share. The PMM works closely with Product Management, Sales, and Corporate Marketing to ensure products are competitively positioned, accurately priced, and consistently communicated across all channels.
Product Positioning & Messaging
• Develop and maintain clear product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for assigned access control products and solutions.
• Ensure alignment and consistency of messaging across marketing campaigns, sales materials, and digital channels.
• Support brand consistency while highlighting product differentiation.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
• Actively track competitors, including product features, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Maintain competitive analysis tools such as comparison matrices, battle cards, and market reports.
• Share actionable competitive insights with marketing and sales teams to support campaigns and sales strategies.
Pricing Analysis & Support
• Monitor market pricing, competitor pricing models, and promotional activities.
• Support the development and maintenance of pricing strategies in collaboration with marketing leadership, sales, and finance.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on pricing adjustments based on market dynamics and competitive pressure.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Support
• Contribute to the development and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and product launches.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create product-related content, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and website content.
• Support demand-generation activities by ensuring product messaging aligns with target customer needs..
Sales Enablement & Internal Communication
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand market feedback and customer requirements.
• Develop sales enablement materials, including product presentations, competitive positioning guides, and pricing tools.
• Deliver internal product and competitive training sessions for sales and marketing teams.
Performance Tracking & Budget Support
• Track and analyze product-related marketing performance indicators, including campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution, and revenue trends.
• Support marketing budget planning and monitor spend related to product marketing activities.
• Report insights and recommendations to marketing management.
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
