As a Product Marketing Manager in Devices at Itron, you will drive the strategic planning, implementation, management, and performance of multiple product marketing campaigns and Go-To-Market initiatives across the Heat & Allocation lines of business.
This is a cross-functional role, and the successful candidate will interact directly with product managers, product marketing, corporate marketing, sales teams and industry partners to develop and execute tactical and strategic marketing plans to launch new products, generate leads, accelerate pipeline, and drive industry awareness, generate leads, and accelerate pipeline for Itron’s solutions.
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative professional, who is comfortable taking initiative and working hands-on when needed. This is a highly visible role, where we’re looking for the demonstrated ability to plan, drive and execute multi-faceted projects to completion being able to take ownership while contributing as part of a team.
Drive marketing program and campaign planning, execution, and management for multiple Heat & Allocation line of business initiatives.
Support product management in the development and execution of global and regional go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. Includes working with product management to drive the development of value proposition, market segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing, collateral, sales tools, training, etc. in preparation for solution launch.
Develop compelling and differentiated market positioning and messaging.
Help to produce various content for newsletters, advertising and promotional programs, trade shows, events, and digital marketing vehicles.
Leverage and coordinate resources of corporate marketing to plan, develop, execute and track marketing campaigns and activities.
Recommend, and secure opportunities to promote Itron’s solutions in the industry. This may include sponsored media programs, events, industry associations, and content campaigns. Analyze results to provide recommendations to maximize performance and investment.
Develop and execute Itron-led and industry-sponsored lead generation and awareness campaigns.
Identify, plan and provide budgetary requirements for marketing activities.
Develop and promote sales enablement tools for direct and channel sales, content and training to drive new client acquisition & sales revenue.
Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic…) in order to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
Contribute content to various internal and external marketing communications (e.g. newsletters, email campaigns, articles, web).
Work with customers to develop case studies, videos, testimonials, awards, etc.
Work with corporate marketing and sales to identify and secure speaking opportunities.
Lead market intelligence activities, including evaluating market size, trends, and opportunities to help develop effective GTM strategies.
Support product management in the development and execution of global and regional go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. Includes working with product management to drive the development of value proposition, market segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing, collateral, sales tools, training, etc. in preparation for solution launch.
At least 3 years of related experience in marketing communications.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience executing integrated B2B demand‑generation campaigns across channels such as email, social, digital advertising, and webinars.
Strong organizational skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into visually compelling content (e.g. videos, animations, slide decks, digital content) is strongly preferred.
Experience in technical and business writing and content marketing required.
Desire and ability to manage multiple projects to completion.
Utility, submetering, or experience working with plumbing wholesalers is preferred
Ability to work effectively and drive results with diverse teams both remotely and in-person.
Ability to travel ~15%.
