About the Role


We are seeking a highly articulate Product Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. As a Product Marketer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product's messaging and positioning, driving demand, and enabling our sales and customer success teams.


What You'll Actually Do


You'll be part of our product marketing team, owning GTM strategy for specific product modules and launch cycles.


Here's what that looks like day to day:


  • You'll jump into roadmap calls with the product team to understand what's being built and why. Then you'll figure out how to talk about it in a way that makes customers care.


  • Market research is a big part of this. You'll dig through G2 reviews, listen to customer calls on Gong, stalk competitors, and interview people inside and outside the company to understand what matters.


  • You'll work on positioning and messaging as the product evolves, thinking about how to articulate what we do to our potential customers in a manner that deeply resonates with them.


  • You’ll work on customer-facing roadmaps with the design team. You'll also write short, punchy copy for landing pages and work with the web team to get them live and track their performance.


  • The sales team needs to know how to sell what you're launching. At vFairs, we use RAG-based chatbots for sales enablement. You'll update the training docs and own their effectiveness over time. You'll also show up to town halls and sales huddles to walk teams through value props and run live demos.


  • When something new launches, you own the GTM plan. You'll build excitement and make sure the launch actually lands.


  • You'll work closely with customer success to pull feedback and insights that shape what gets built next. And you'll measure what's working. Track campaigns, analyze performance, report back.


  • We encourage using AI and LLM tools like Perplexity and Notebook LM to automate research and build reusable deliverables. You'll also build custom GPTs wherever you can shorten the time from blank page to first draft.


  • You'll stay in sync with your manager and teammates using Slack Tasks and weekly syncs.


What We Expect in Your First 90 Days


Month 1: Learn the landscape


Get deep into the product. Understand our main ICPs and use cases inside and out. Meet the teams you'll work with most (product, sales, customer success, web). Read G2 reviews, talk to internal stakeholders, and study the competition.


Sync with your manager early to align on expectations. You'll also shadow the team and potentially lead a couple of feature launches to get your feet wet.


Month 2: Take ownership


Start owning a product module or launch cycle. Pair up with a few PMs and run your first sales enablement session. Take on town hall responsibilities and coordinate with sales and customer success to gather insights and align messaging across teams.


This is where you start leaning into AI automations and LLMs to speed up your workflow as you get comfortable with the rhythm.


Month 3: Show impact


Quantify your launches. Show management where things are working and where they're not. Ship a Tier 1 launch and start thinking strategically about how your work ties to bigger business goals.


If you show promise in this first quarter and deliver results, this role can evolve into an opportunity to help drive the PMM team forward.


This Role Is For You If You:


  • Have 4+ years in product marketing, ideally in SaaS products

  • Can write copy that's clear and compelling without sounding like a robot

  • Like working cross-functionally and don't need everything spelled out for you

  • Get excited about digging into data, customer feedback, and competitive research

  • Can stand up in front of a sales team and make them believe in what you're selling

  • Has a passion and acumen for AI/LLMs

  • Have a degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
