Job Description

HealthPartners is hiring a Product Marketing Business Analyst. The Product Marketing Business Analyst will support the Dental Plan in market analysis and data management. This role will provide support in meeting our organization's strategic initiatives and financial goals. This role provides system development and implementation process guidance and serves as a contact resource with other departments, such as the IS&T and web development teams.

This is a hybrid role, with onsite presence required Tuesday through Thursday at the 8170 Corporate Office Building in Bloomington. Schedule and onsite days may be subject to change based on business and team needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Office/Excel/Access, SQL, Python, R), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and statistical analysis.
  • Good understanding of system infrastructure and ability to understand integration of a proposed change into the current infrastructure
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver output on those requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in technical and non-technical vernacular
  • Expertise with more than one system development methodology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and diligent focus on identifying errors in data
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and how data analysis can be applied to improve business outcomes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • 2 years healthcare/ health plan experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: -

  1. (20%) - Data Collection and Management: Gathering data from various internal sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and streamlining data collection methods.
  2. (20%) - Data Analysis: Utilizing statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
  3. (10%) - Data Visualization: Creating charts, graphs, and other visual representations to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
  4. (20%) - Problem Solving: Applying data analysis to solve business problems, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.
  5. (30%) - Collaboration: Working with other teams, such as underwriters, sales, IS&T, web team to implement data-driven solutions.
