About the team

T:0’s mission is to make finance run itself. We are turning accounting into autonomous infrastructure that closes the books, reconciles, and reports continuously, so the people who own the outcome can stop worrying about busy work and start focusing on strategic decisions. We're a small, elite, builder-focused team inside Airwallex, moving at startup speed with a scaled company's infrastructure and distribution behind us.

What you’ll do

You own what we say about T:0 and who we say it to — and then you write it, ship it, and put it in front of customers. This is a production role as much as a thinking role. In a given week you might rewrite the homepage, cut a two-minute product walkthrough, draft the newsletter, build a competitive one-pager for a live deal, and interview three customers. The positioning work matters enormously but it only matters once it exists somewhere a customer can see it. You'll work directly with our CEO, Product teams, Chief of Staff, Growth Marketer, and Founding GTM hire.

This role is based in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

• Own the ICP and know the customer better than anyone here. Run customer interviews and win/loss conversations continuously, not as a quarterly project. Sit in on sales calls. Turn what you hear into messaging that lands, and tell the product team what you're learning.
• Own positioning and messaging. Build the core narrative — what T:0 is, why it matters, why it's different — and the frameworks that keep the website, sales deck, launches, and content saying the same thing. Then test it: real message testing against real prospects, not internal debate.
• Write the website. You own the copy on every page. Our Growth Marketer owns the page builds, the tests, and the traffic — you own the words.
• Make product content. Product walkthroughs, explainers, demo videos, launch assets. Scrappy and fast in-house is the default; we'll bring in outside help when something genuinely needs production polish. You should be comfortable recording a clean screen walkthrough yourself.
• Run product launches. Build a repeatable launch motion and run it — narrative, assets, internal enablement, timing, and a real read on whether the launch worked.
• Own the blog and SEO content strategy. Decide what we should rank for, write the briefs, and write the pieces that matter. Growth handles technical SEO and distribution.
• Write the T:0 newsletter. Growth grows the list; you make it worth reading.
• Own competitive. Know who we're up against, keep the comparison current, and arm the sales team with something they can actually use on a call.
• Build sales enablement materials. One-pagers, objection handling, competitive battlecards, demo narratives. Our Founding GTM hire runs enablement with the Airwallex sales org — you build what they run.
• Own pricing and packaging. Partner with the CEO and Product on how we price, what's in each tier, and how we explain it.
• Collect and use customer proof. Quotes, reviews, case studies, logos. Get them, and get them in front of buyers.

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years in product marketing, or an adjacent role where you personally owned positioning and shipped the assets that came out of it.
• You're an exceptional writer. This is the single highest bar in the process. We'll ask for samples and a short written exercise.
• A track record of high output. We'll ask you to walk us through what you shipped in a recent 90-day stretch — we're looking for volume and velocity, not one flagship deliverable.
• You've done real customer research and can show how a specific insight changed specific messaging.
• You can hold your own on a technical product. You don't need a finance or accounting background, but you need to be someone who gets deep on how things work rather than staying at the surface.
• You operate without a brief. Nobody here will hand you a prioritized queue.

Preferred qualifications:

• Fintech, accounting, or founder-finance-stack experience.
• You've been the first or only product marketer somewhere.
• Comfortable recording and lightly editing your own product videos.
• You use AI tools aggressively — research, drafting, competitive monitoring, content iteration.
• Experience marketing to founders and early-stage operators.
