The app monitors things like identity checks, suspicious activity, and data breaches, then alerts users if something looks off. From a product perspective, it sits at the intersection of fintech, cybersecurity, and consumer trust, tackling a real-world problem with strong user relevance and clear social impact.
About the Role
We are looking for a ProductManagerto joinan existing and expanding team delivering identity protection for all Australians.
You willwork with the product and design team to deliverdiscovery,validateopportunities, set product direction, and guide the squad through delivery. You will work closely with engineers, designers, partners, and internal stakeholders to bring new concepts to life and deliver customer-ready MVPs.
This is a hands-on role aimed at someone who enjoys building from a blank sheet of paper and is comfortable shaping new product lines in an environment where the problem space, customer needs and commercial model must be worked out in parallel.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct discovery toidentifyhigh-value problems and opportunities in identity, security andor frauds andscamsprevention
Develop and test hypotheses, run lightweightexperimentsandvalidatecustomer demand.
Define clear product strategies and MVP scopes for new concepts that align with Truyu’s broader goals and CBA’s priorities.
Deliver MVP or feature updates end-to-end, working closely with design and engineering
Work with third-party suppliers and strategic partners to deliver andmaintainproductservices
Leanin, alongside the team,tomaintainand refine the product backlog.
Collaborate with design towriteresearch briefs and run activities to understand customer needs andvalidateassumptions.
Champion a customer evidence mindset within the squad, from MVP discovery to delivery testing.
Communicate progress,risksand insights clearly to senior leaders across product and engineering.
Make considered trade-offs between scope,speedand quality tomaintainmomentum and deliver MVPs on time.
Lead engagement with the growth team to deliver growth across CommBank channels.
Maintainwebsite, appstoresand other customer-facing channels torepresentthe product and drive growth
Produce key documents and materialsrequiredfor key stakeholders.
About You
You are a product thinker first. You care about solving the right problems and creating real value for customers and the business.
Deep experiencein Product Owner or Product Management roles, with at least one example where you helped take a product or major feature from idea to first launch in a new or ambiguous space.
Strong product discovery skills. You are comfortable interviewing customers, mapping workflows, running smallexperimentsand using those insights to shape what to build next.
Clear product sense. You can look at a problem, cut throughnoiseand frame a simple, compelling value proposition that resonates.
Creative and pragmatic. You can generate options, but you also know how to narrow them down and choose a path that can be built by a small team.
Able to use both qualitative insights and basic product analytics to make decisions and measure whether something is working.
Strongcommunicator You can tell the story of a product, explain the trade-offsand bring stakeholders along without jargon.
Collaborative by default. You enjoy working side by side with engineers,designersand operationsto solve problems end to end.
Comfortable with ambiguity. You do not need a detailed playbook and can bringstructurewhere there is none.
Familiar with agile ways of working, but you see processas a means tocreate value, not anend in itself
