Job Purpose
GTB Term Deposits Product Manager will provide operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Liquidity Management Head in executing day-to-day activities, including product management, marketing initiatives, reporting, governance and coordination with internal teams. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking exposure to liquidity products and corporate banking operations.
Key Result Areas
Designated product manager to ensure governance, product management and product development and commercialization of the term deposit solution.
On ongoing basis, responsibilities will include:
- Leading Corporate Term Deposits product, developing Term Deposits’ strategy and vision supporting Head of Liquidity in achieving strategic liquidity objectives of the bank
- Governance of Term Deposits, Notice Deposit Accounts and structured solutions offered to Corporate Customers
- Product development of Term Deposits and Structured Solutions. Developing and driving Term Deposits’ roadmap within GTB portfolio of products.
- Strategic oversight of TD performance and market alignment
- Development of optimal propositions tailored to client segments
- Monitoring of ongoing TD book operations and improvements’ suggestions to determine optimal portfolio growth
- Enhanced collaboration across Coverage, Treasury, and Finance to ensure balance sheet efficiency
- Defining gaps within operational processes and correcting those for optimal end to end performance of Corporate Term Deposits of the bank.
- Owning the end-to-end corporate term deposits journey, including onboarding, documentation, and digital enablement across markets.
- Managing a diverse portfolio of account types, including:
- Term Deposits
- Notice Deposit Accounts
- Other structured solutions offered to Corporate Clients
- Defining and tracking Account Services portfolio KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics. End to End PnL ownership of Account Services portfolio of products. Redefining criteria for Term Deposits’ monitoring on their performance and KPIs
- Driving pricing frameworks for Term Deposits and structured solutions to ensure transparency and revenue optimization.
- Enhancing Islamic banking proposition, ensuring Sharia-compliant offerings are competitive and well-integrated.
- Coordinating international coverage, aligning Term Deposits and structured solutions across jurisdictions and supporting cross-border client needs.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency through close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Governance of Term Deposits, Re-design of existing processes as required – creation of PPG for the Corporate Banking Group to govern Corporate Term Deposits
- Running marketing campaigns to scale up portfolio size in key markets
- End to End oversight of Term Deposits offering and market alignment
- Ongoing monitoring of pricing processes and strategies, improvement of technologies related to accounts’ operations
- Development of new products and types of structured term solutions to align with the market to commercialize GTB Cash related solutions. Retirement of old account products as per the bank’s and liabilities strategy of the bank.
- Collaboration with Tech and Project Domain of the bank to ensure timely delivery of features with high quality, sprint planning, grooming, and execution.
- Monitoring of ongoing Term Deposits operations and regulatory requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience with bank’s Account Products and Services and Liquidity Management offerings
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in banking, treasury, or financial services (internship experience acceptable).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Experience in liquidity management, treasury products, financial markets.
