This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product owners or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs. The Portfolio Lead – Technology Delivery is responsible for driving strategy, governance, and execution across a complex portfolio of Global Operations, Shared Services and Client Data Platform technology initiatives. This role partners closely with executive leadership to shape direction, optimize investments, and ensure delivery of critical transformation, resiliency, and risk programs. The ideal candidate brings strong portfolio management discipline, financial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
  • Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams
  • Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products by working closely with finance partners on both personnel and non-personnel expenses
  • Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
  • Ensures product availability by partnering closely with demand and capacity teammates
  • Develops business cases for new products and additional features for existing products
  • Partners with the product owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and subject-matter expertise and understanding of the business and industry trends
  • Lead strategy and end-to-end execution of the Solution Architecture portfolio, ensuring alignment with regulatory, data transformation, resiliency, and strategic priorities
  • Drive portfolio delivery through prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level reporting to support informed decision-making
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving alignment across business and technology stakeholders
  • Lead governance and act as SPOC for key initiatives, ensuring adherence to risk, regulatory, and policy requirements
  • Oversee financial performance, forecasting, and portfolio planning to meet targets
  • Drive intake, prioritization, and issue resolution to ensure smooth portfolio execution
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, and strong talent management
  • Drive talent development and upskilling initiatives to support evolving business and technology priorities
  • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement across portfolio governance, intake, and reporting
  • Lead transformation efforts to modernize portfolio management practices, tools, and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, portfolio management, or product management.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale portfolios ($25M+ budgets) in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, forecasting, and variance control.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Background in Global Operations, Shared Services, Data, Analytics, or Solution Architecture domains.
  • Experience with regulatory, risk, and compliance-driven initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as JIRA, financial management systems, and intake/reporting platforms.
  • Experience driving process transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
