Your role:

Based at our Wuxi site, you will connect China/APAC product strategy with manufacturing and commercial execution. You will combine regional product management with hands-on leadership of localization, product transfers, data quality, and portfolio operations.

What you will do

Product Management (50%)

  • Shape product line strategy for China/APAC in alignment with global portfolio direction and local customer needs.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products, including portfolio analysis, change management, rationalization, and phase-out.
  • Lead new product launches and go-to-market execution, coordinating timelines, product information, system setup, and commercial readiness.
  • Coordinate product changes and responses to customer needs, complaints, quality issues, special requests, and supply disruptions.
  • Advance risk mitigation, local sourcing, product and packaging improvements, speed, and cost efficiency.

Portfolio Operations - Wuxi focus (50%)

  • Support product localization and global product transfers to Wuxi, driving milestones, readiness, issue resolution, and cross-site alignment.
  • Act as the primary on-site interface between the Wuxi plant and global Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams.
  • Connect plant execution with portfolio strategy, synchronize product and supply updates, and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks.
  • Lead strategic portfolio projects and safeguard ERP and product data quality by clarifying ownership, coordinating resolution, and strengthening escalation pathways.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least four years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, for example in product management, marketing, technical service, operations, or supply chain.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, launches, go-to-market execution, and product change management.
  • Analytical and structured approach, with experience in ERP systems and data management.
  • Experience with product localization, manufacturing transfers, or local sourcing is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English; German is a plus.
