Be the driving force behind the future of sugarbeet in Hungary!

We are looking at KWS Magyarország Kft. for a Product Manager Sugarbeet who combines strong agronomic expertise with a deep understanding of sugarbeet production. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management and development of our sugarbeet portfolio, working closely with colleagues from Breeding, Agroservice, Sales, Marketing, and International Product Management. Your expertise will help bring the right varieties and solutions to growers while shaping the future direction of our portfolio. The position is to be filled as soon as possible, and the offer is for an unlimited full time contract

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the lifecycle and development of the sugarbeet portfolio in Hungary.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate variety trials, strip tests, and technical assessments.
• Analyze trial results and market performance to support portfolio decisions and product positioning.
• Work closely with Breeding and International Product Management teams to align market needs with future variety development.
• Support variety registration activities and maintain technical product documentation.
• Act as the technical sugarbeet expert for internal teams, growers, and external stakeholders.
• Support Sales and Agroservice colleagues through technical guidance, training, and market insights.
• Recommend varieties based on regional conditions, soil characteristics, and production systems.
• Create technical content, product information, and communication materials about sugarbeet.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and variety performance.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on demand forecasting and seasonal seed planning.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of sugarbeet cultivation, production systems, and agronomic practices; practical experience in sugarbeet is highly desirable.
• Experience in technical product management, variety trials, crop evaluation, or agronomic advisory work.
• Ability to analyze data and translate technical findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured, proactive, and results-oriented working style.
• Fluent in Hungarian and English.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Hungary.
