Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
About the Team
Subscriptions make up a huge portion of Canva’s revenue and are critical to unlocking premium value for millions of users around the world.
The Subscriptions team owns key parts of the monetisation platform that enables our teams to launch, experiment and grow Canva's subscriber base. We also make sure that every subscriber gets a simple, transparent experience from the moment they sign up to how they manage their plan.
The platform manages various aspects of the subscription lifecycle: the products and plans we offer, how we price and discount, how we communicate with users and how we manage access to premium features across Canva.
Within this, the Lifecycle team’s mission is to build and scale a world-class subscription lifecycle platform - so that everyone anywhere can access Canva Premium products.
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to own the full subscription lifecycle - one of the most commercially critical areas at Canva. That means making pricing and plan changes seamless, reducing involuntary churn, and building the kind of self-serve lifecycle infrastructure that scales across a global product used by millions.
You'll build and maintain a prioritised lifecycle roadmap that balances near-term retention wins with longer-term platform investment, while expanding what Canva can offer existing subscribers through new product offerings and cross-surface lifecycle experiences.
Working closely with Growth, Data, Monetisation, and International teams, you'll establish the self-serve capabilities that let teams across Canva run lifecycle campaigns independently making the Subscriptions platform a scalable foundation for Canva's revenue growth.
We're looking for a senior product manager who's energised by the intersection of platform thinking and user impact someone who can zoom into the detail of churn funnels and zoom out to shape a retention strategy. You should be comfortable owning a complex domain, confident influencing across teams you don't directly manage, and motivated by building things that work at scale. The right candidate will bring strong product judgment, a bias for execution, and a genuine care for the subscriber experience whether that's a renewal email or a backend migration tool.
You're probably a match if
You have 6–8 years of product management experience, ideally in subscriptions, retention, lifecycle, or platform teams.
You've worked on subscription lifecycle optimisation, or revenue retention problems before and can talk about what worked and what didn't.
You've built or contributed to platform products and you understand the trade-offs between flexibility and standardisation, and know what it takes to build for internal adoption.
You're fluent in metrics, experimentation, and insight generation not just reporting results, but interpreting what they mean and turning them into action.
You're proactive in problem-framing and roadmap building, and comfortable making trade-offs and sequencing bets across competing priorities.
You lead by influence and earn trust through clarity, follow-through, and product sense especially when working with teams outside your direct scope.
You care about great UX but also how to make it scale across markets and millions of subscribers.

We’re leveling the playing field and democratizing access to design and visual communication by empowering 100% of the world to communicate in a way that was once limited to the 1%.
We've always had a deeper mission surrounding Canva — which we talk about as our 'simple' two-step plan: to build one of the world’s most valuable companies, and to do the most good we possibly can. We're committed to our core value of Being a Force for Good, so as the value of our company grows, so too does our ability to have a positive impact on the world.
