Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and domain-focused Product Manager (Individual Contributor) to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our core Financial Models product within our Financial Platform. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Finance & Accounting and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Engineering and UX teams, in a fast-paced, Agile environment. While this is an IC role, we value candidates who demonstrate leadership potential and a keen interest in leveraging emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Financial Models product, ensuring alignment with the overall Financial Platform strategy and business goals.
• Domain Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for the financial modeling domain, leveraging a strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive product development by partnering closely with:
• Engineering Teams: Write clear user stories, manage the product backlog, participate in Agile ceremonies, and manage the technical delivery lifecycle.
• UX/Design Teams: Ensure financial models and features are delivered with a best-in-class, intuitive user experience.
• Stakeholders: Facilitate effective string collaboration and communication across sales, operations, and leadership.
• Agile Execution: Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration, working effectively within Agile environments.
• Technology & Innovation: Explore opportunities for product enhancement, including maintaining awareness of industry best practices and collaborating on Cybersecurity needs within the platform.
• AI Exploration (Good to Have): Stay informed on AI/ML trends and collaborate with teams focused on AI-driven environments or AI Pods to potentially integrate advanced modeling techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5–9 years of experience in Product Management.
• Domain (Mandatory): Proven experience working on or managing products within a Financial Platform.
• Core Skills:
• Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles and how they translate into financial modeling requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise working in Agile environments.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of successful partnership with Engineering and UX teams.
• Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
• A professional or educational background in Finance & Accounting (e.g., degree, professional certification).
• Prior exposure to or excitement about building products that leverage AI/Machine Learning.
• Experience in people leadership or mentoring, even if this is an Individual Contributor (IC) role.
