Compensation: $74,817 - $118,211

Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

The Product Manager, Protection Plans is an individual contributor responsible for the execution and lifecycle management of Enercare’s Protection Plans portfolio, including Maintenance Plans, protection/coverage plans, and chargeable offerings (e.g., $0 diagnostics).

This role owns day-to-day performance levers across pricing execution, offer structure, renewals, retention, and attach, translating portfolio strategy into measurable growth, margin, and customer lifetime value outcomes.

Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Call Centre, Field Operations, Finance, and Analytics, the Product Manager ensures Protection Plans remain competitive, operationally ready, and effectively positioned as core entry and attach products within Enercare’s multiproduct household strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Execute pricing, offer structures, and coverage changes for Protection Plans in line with approved portfolio strategy.
• Manage plan lifecycle activities including launches, enhancements, offer updates, and retirements.
• Drive renewal rate improvement and churn reduction through insight driven offer and experience enhancements.
• Execute initiatives that increase Protection Plan penetration and attach across Enercare’s customer base.
• Support business case development and post launch performance tracking for plan initiatives.
• Ensure offer clarity, scripting alignment, and operational readiness for all plan changes.
• Assist in managing the product category P&L and contribute to forecasting and margin analysis
• Monitor weekly and monthly KPIs including sales, renewals, churn, attach, margin, and leading indicators of portfolio health.
• Analyze performance drivers, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Contribute to forecasts, variance analysis, and quarterly performance reviews.

The Product Manager is accountable for defining the levers and initiatives that drive these outcomes, working through cross functional execution partners:

• Protection Plan unit growth and attach rate
• Maintenance Plan penetration
• Renewal rate improvement and churn reduction
• Contribution margin performance
• Forecast accuracy and timeliness
• Effectiveness of GTM execution (conversion lift, frontline readiness)

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role
• Experience in home services, HVAC, utilities, insurance/warranty, or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with KPIs, funnels, cohorts, and renewal data.
• Solid financial acumen with exposure to pricing, margin analysis, and business case support.
• Proven ability to execute cross functionally in operational, services led environments.
• High technical proficiency, with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills to multiple audience types, including Senior-level executives and field teams.
• Experience in home services, utilities or energy sector being an asset
