  Drive the definition and development of new power frequency converter platforms, planning and coordinating each phase from concept to execution.

  Translate market, regulatory and operational needs into clear system requirements - usable both internally and in front of customers, in technical and business language.
• 
  Select converter/inverter topologies, control strategies and integration approaches for new product lines
• 
  Resolve complex, sometimes conflicting design requirements and coordinate across engineering disciplines.
• 
  Act as technical partner for PMO, sales, manufacturing, purchasing and development teams.
• 
  Guide problem-solving on complex projects and set the technical direction for the engineering team.
• 
  Make sure designs are manufacturable, testable and reliable - with standardization in mind.
• 
  Define electrical, mechanical and software integration points across the system.
• 
  Apply and champion IEC, CE, UL and marine standards (GL, LR, ABS) in daily design work.
• 
  Present and defend the technical vision in customer and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

• 
  Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Bachelor's or higher).
• 
  8+ years of experience in power electronics or a closely related field.
• 
  Proven track record as a system lead or architect of complex products/systems.
• 
  Strong troubleshooting skills at both component and subsystem level.
• 
  Familiarity with engineering quality systems (PLC, engineering change management).
• 
  Excellent communication and technical writing skills - reports, analyses, presentations.
• 
  Leadership across organizational boundaries: you get results without formal authority.
