Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product strategy and multi‑year roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regional goals, and long‑term strategic objectives.
  • Lead and execute strategic initiatives including localization, portfolio expansion, value optimization, and new market entry through structured and disciplined product management.
  • Drive localization initiatives across all Lubrizol product platforms, aligned with regional strategy, by building, prioritizing, and governing a robust product and localization pipeline to enable sustained growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Commercial, R&D, Operations, 3PM, process technology, GPM, Supply Chain, Finance) to develop strong, data‑driven business cases, evaluate make‑vs‑buy strategies, and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Act as project owner for approved strategic initiatives, leading execution from concept to commercialization and ensuring timely delivery, accountability, and value realization.
  • Translate market, customer, and competitive intelligence into clear product strategy decisions, portfolio priorities, and investment recommendations.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from ideation and development through launch, scale‑up, optimization, and rationalization, to maximize growth and financial performance.
  • Partner with commercial teams to shape go‑to‑market strategies, product positioning, value propositions, and pricing frameworks that enhance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Work closely with R&D and technical teams to prioritize innovation pipelines, platform development, and technology roadmaps aligned with future growth opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, tools, and processes to track progress against strategic programs, milestones, and portfolio KPIs.
  • Influence and align cross‑functional stakeholders across regions and functions, leading without authority to drive execution excellence and achievement of strategic outcomes

  • Prioritized and well‑governed product and localization pipeline across platforms, enabling sustained regional growth
  • Successful delivery of strategic initiatives (localization, portfolio expansion, value optimization, new market entry) with clear financial impact.
  • Leadership‑approved, data‑driven business cases for product strategy, investment decisions, and make‑vs‑buy evaluations
  • Improved portfolio performance, measured through revenue growth, margin expansion, and health of product mix
  • Strong go‑to‑market strategy, including positioning, value propositions, pricing guidance, and effective product launches

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Applied Science, or Business; MBA degree preferred , project management experience.
  • 8–12 years of experience in product management, strategy, marketing, or tech‑commercial roles within B2B or industrial environment
