As a Product Manager on the Healthcare Payments team, you will be responsible for the strategy, execution, and management of InstaMed’s Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) disbursement solutions. This role will have a focus on identifying market opportunities that influence the product development roadmap. The Product Manager will be responsible for conducting market research, synthesizing insights into actionable feedback, defining functional requirements, and ultimately managing product delivery through the software development lifecycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. We are seeking candidates that possess superior communication, project management, and organizational skills. Payments industry experience is required, with a particular focus on managing disbursement applications across B2B/B2C enterprise software environments.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify strategic opportunities
  • Lead software development initiatives
  • Manage cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder groups – Development, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Commercialization, and Operations
  • Develop sound business cases in support of product development initiatives
  • Manage product roadmap and prioritize feature delivery across releases
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on product domain

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience at a technology company or financial institution
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Experience managing enterprise B2B and/or B2C payment applications
  • Superior written and oral communication abilities
  • Self-starter, effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time, expectations, organizing people, and getting things done

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
