The pay range is $88,000.00 - $158,000.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The Network Security product at Targetis responsible forprotecting and enabling the secure flow of traffic across a large, complex enterprise environment. The team focuses on delivering strong security outcomes whilemaintaininga seamless user experience and high system availability. This includes modernizing core network security platforms, improving secure access capabilities, and strengthening how security integrates with engineering and business teams. The product also drives operational excellence through better visibility, automation, and clear decision frameworks, while partnering closely across the organization to ensure security scales effectively with Target’s technology and business needs.

Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that areeasy to use,easilymaintainedandhighly reliable Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of allproduct,technologyand design work.

As aProduct Manager, you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and businessobjectives(OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritize thedirection and desired outcomesfor your product.You will work with engineersand business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the “voice of the product” with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals andhigh standardsof performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will fostersenseof urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:

  • Four-year degreeor equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of product management experience with Network Security or adjacent (e.g. Security, Infrastructure) domain knowledge

  • Product strategy development & implementation for platform products

  • Comfort operating in evolving, high-complexity spaces

  • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams

  • Ability to lead a body of work with cross functional partners

  • Technical aptitude

  • Experience working in an agile environment

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
