Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Product Manager Lead to define and deliver a new banking and mobile experience for small business customers. This role will lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of digital banking solutions that help business owners manage their finances more easily, securely, and efficiently. The Product Manager Lead will serve as the voice of the small business customer, partnering across technology, design, operations, risk, compliance, marketing, and frontline teams to launch and continuously improve solutions that drive client satisfaction, digital adoption, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap development for small business digital banking and mobile experiences.
  • Identify customer needs, pain points, and growth opportunities through research, feedback, journey mapping, and market analysis.
  • Translate business goals and customer insights into clear product requirements, features, and priorities.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and business case through design, development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Partner closely with user experience, engineering, operations, risk, legal, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure delivery of secure, compliant, and customer-centered solutions.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing customer value, regulatory requirements, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Define success metrics and monitor performance including adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue contribution.
  • Lead testing, pilot programs, rollout planning, and post-launch improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Support go-to-market planning, internal readiness, training, and communication strategies for new product launches and enhancements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, fintech innovation, competitor offerings, and evolving small business banking needs.
  • Serve as a thought partner and leader within the product organization, helping guide prioritization, alignment, and execution across multiple stakeholders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This role works in a standard office environment and involves extended periods at a computer, regular communication in person and by phone, and occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, digital banking, financial services, fintech, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading digital product initiatives, preferably within mobile banking, online banking, or small business financial products.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, customer-centered design, and agile delivery practices.
  • Ability to translate complex customer, operational, and technical needs into practical product solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and influencing decisions at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of banking operations, regulatory considerations, risk controls, and compliance requirements relevant to digital banking products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with small business banking products such as business checking, payments, cash management, lending, or treasury services.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, digital banking, financial services, fintech, or a related discipline.
  • Experience building or enhancing digital experiences for business customers across mobile and online channels.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping, experimentation, product analytics, and digital adoption strategies.
  • Experience working in a regulated financial institution and navigating approval processes across risk, legal, and compliance partners.
  • Demonstrated leadership in shaping strategy, driving alignment, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
