Your role

As Product Manager IPA Counterparty Risk & Exposure Management, you are responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) domain within the IPA landscape, including exposure management, collateral, and capital calculations.

You:

Your responsibilities

    • Exposure calculation (EAD, PFE)
    • Collateral and netting optimisation
    • Stress testing and capital reporting
  • Ensure delivery under tight timelines and external scrutiny (regulatory and audit findings)

Stakeholder & governance management

  • Act as primary point of contact for senior stakeholders across Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, and IT
  • Navigate a large, cross-functional stakeholder landscape, aligning conflicting priorities and ensuring decisions at pace
  • Represent the CCR domain in governance forums and regulatory interactions

Platform and architecture evolution

  • Drive standardisation and integration across platforms such as ACR, Murex, IPA, and Risk engines
  • Lead the evolution towards scalable, data-driven risk services architecture
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data and platform strategy

People & leadership

  • Functionally lead Product Owners and senior contributors across the domain
  • Foster a culture of ownership, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement
  • Coach teams to operate in a high-pressure, high-complexity environment

Unique strengths:

This role requires a Product Manager who has demonstrably:

  • Full domain ownership capability
Proven ability to own and lead an entire Counterparty Credit Risk domain, including regulatory scope (CCR, FRTB-CVA, SIMM) and associated platforms
  • Execution under regulatory pressure
Track record of delivering critical initiatives under regulatory scrutiny, including stress testing, capital calculation, and audit remediation topics
  • End-to-end programme leadership
Experience leading large-scale programmes such as the CCR programme, requiring coordination across Business, Risk, and Technology
  • Deep understanding of risk platforms and data flows
Ability to design and evolve complex ecosystems covering exposure calculation, collateral management, and reporting (ACR, IPA, Murex integrations)
  • Strong product vision and architectural thinking
Demonstrated ability to define a clear target-state architecture and roadmap, including development of canonical data models and integrated risk services
  • High stakeholder visibility and trust
Recognised as a key contact across trading desks and risk stakeholders, with strong domain credibility and influence
  • Consistent delivery performance in complex environments
Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact delivery streams simultaneously while maintaining quality and continuity
