About the Team
The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities
- Participate in early-stage product design discussions for Global Payment Compliance projects, and write part of product design documents based on thorough understanding of business scenarios and/or compliance requirements;
- Work with world-class engineering team to implement product features, and conduct product reviews after development is completed;
- Conduct data analyses, compare product features' real performance in the production environment as compared to initial expectations, provide reasonable explanations and offer next-step enhancement suggestions.
- Summarize and analyze different product functionalities, and compare common product capabilities and workflows across multiple solutions to identify reusable patterns and platform-level opportunities.
