Umami Bioworks is looking to hire an inquisitive, innovative, and independent Product Manager to join our team in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business strategy and scientific breakthroughs
• Leading interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of science, business, regulatory and engineering
• Planning, development, and implementation of biotech products with customers ensuring they meet user needs
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch
• Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and analyse competitive landscape
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver products on time and within budget
• Communicate product updates, plans, and progress to stakeholders

Education:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical engineering, biotechnology, or a related technical field

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in product management or consulting

Skills:

• Passion for science and creating and launching new products in market
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, user experience, and market analysis
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
• Capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

You will work directly with other members of our small but growing team to do cutting-edge science and will have the autonomy to test new ideas and identify better ways to do things.
