About the job

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager on the infrastructure team, you will empower teams across the company to focus on building features rather than wrangling data integrations. You will ensure platforms act as an accelerator for development, enabling the next generation of autonomous agents to interact seamlessly with commercial systems.

Users come first at Google. Nowhere is this more important than on our Advertising and Commerce team: we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website; and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Define product requirements, capabilities, and feature roadmaps for core platforms, ensuring they support and meet the needs of internal users.
  • Evolve foundational data models to better represent entities like offers, merchants, brands, and local stores, directly improving the quality of content served to consumers and insights provided to sellers.
  • Drive the product idea for internal commerce tools and automation surfaces to improve operational efficiency across the organization.
