Mission: Own a defined area of the Print Platform end-to-end — improving its security, quality, and transition to the modern print stack.
The Windows Print Platform team owns the print stack built into every Windows 11 and Windows Server device, and — through Universal Print — extends it beyond Windows to macOS, the web, and mobile and tablet devices. The platform runs at scale & certification against open standards such as Mopria (an open printing standard) is a core part of the platform's strategy.
As a Product Manager II, you will own a clearly defined area of the printer and print-firmware stack and contribute to the team's security-first modernization for the Windows releases — helping move enterprises and consumers off legacy, vulnerability-prone print drivers and onto the modern print stack. This role owns outcomes for its assigned area with support from partners, engineering, and leadership relationships. It is a rare mix of platform work, real partner engagement, and open-standards impact, calibrated so a solid PM can own outcomes end-to-end.
