At UKG, the work you do matters. The code you ship, the decisions you make, and the care you show a customer all add up to real impact. Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.
We never stop learning. We never stop challenging the norm. We push for better, and we celebrate the wins along the way. Here, you’ll get flexibility that’s real, benefits you can count on, and a team that succeeds together. Because at UKG, your work matters—and so do you.
Product Manager — Pro Mobile
Are you a product manager who moves fast, takes initiative, and doesn't wait to be told what to do next? Join our Mobile team at UKG and help build the future of how millions of people experience work — right from their phones.
As a Product Manager for UKG Pro Mobile, you'll drive the execution of our native iOS and Android experiences, working closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional partners to ship features that deliver real customer value. You'll contribute to product strategy while owning the day-to-day delivery of mobile features in an enterprise-scale HCM and Workforce Management product.
This role is for someone who is proactive, curious, and comfortable figuring things out without a playbook. You'll need to ask the right questions, chase down answers across teams, and keep execution moving forward — even when the path isn't fully defined. If you take ownership naturally and thrive when things are ambiguous, we want to hear from you.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Contributes to Mobile Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Partners with senior product leadership to shape the product strategy and roadmap for UKG Pro Mobile
- Gathers customer insights, mobile analytics (session data, crash rates, funnel analysis), and competitive data to inform prioritization
- Translates roadmap priorities into well-defined features and releases that deliver incremental value
- Understands platform-specific considerations (Apple/Google guidelines, OS updates, app store requirements) and factors them into planning
Drives Feature Execution
- Works closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and QA to deliver features on time and with quality
- Takes ownership of assigned features end-to-end — from requirements through delivery
- Proactively identifies risks and blockers, drives resolution, and escalates when needed
- Operates effectively in ambiguity — makes progress and keeps the team moving without waiting for perfect information
Understands the Customer & the Market
- Participates in discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders to validate problems and solutions
- Researches competitive mobile HCM/workforce apps and brings insights back to the team
- Uses quantitative and qualitative data to support product decisions
- Develops a strong understanding of mobile-specific user needs — on-the-go usage, offline scenarios, push notifications, biometric auth, and real-time access
Collaborates Across Teams
- Proactively reaches out to platform, engineering, design system, domain, and other product teams to get answers and unblock work
- Surfaces dependencies early and drives alignment across teams without waiting to be introduced
- Supports services and engineering in troubleshooting customer escalations
- Communicates clearly across time zones with distributed teams (onshore and offshore)
Tracks Product Metrics
- Helps define product metric goals and the mechanisms to collect, track, and report on the data
- Monitors adoption, engagement, and quality metrics for features you own
- Uses data to measure feature impact and inform next steps
Manages the Backlog
- Prioritizes features and requirements within your scope to meet goals on time and with quality
- Breaks features into vertically sliced stories with clear acceptance criteria, user flows, and use case scenarios
- Writes clear requirements so engineers and designers stay focused on solving the right problems
Uses AI Tools & Stays Current
- Actively uses AI tools (copilots, LLMs, AI-assisted research and writing) to work faster and smarter
- Brings forward ideas for how AI and emerging mobile technologies can improve the product
- Stays curious — experiments with new tools and approaches without being asked
Supports Organizational Readiness
- Keeps development, design, and product teams informed on feature progress and upcoming changes
- Contributes to product positioning, key messaging, and learning materials
- Prepared to deliver demos and internal presentations on your feature areas
Grows the Practice of Product Management
- Stays current with evolving product practices, mobile development trends, and agile/SAFe methodologies
- Identifies process issues and proposes improvements
- Shares learnings and best practices with peers
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years in a Product Manager role, with exposure to mobile products (iOS/Android)
- Understanding of native mobile platforms, mobile UX patterns, and platform-specific constraints (performance, offline, notifications, app store processes)
- Proactive and resourceful — doesn't wait for direction; figures out who to talk to and drives things forward
- Comfortable with ambiguity — can take an unclear ask and turn it into an actionable plan
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) — can explain complex concepts simply
- Analytical mindset — uses data to support decisions
- Experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, continuous delivery)
- Track record of shipping features on time, with quality
- Comfortable using AI tools in daily work and willing to experiment with new technologies
- Customer-focused and outcome-driven
- Growth mindset — eager to learn, take feedback, and improve
Experience, Education & Training
- Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, design, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with globally distributed teams, especially offshore/nearshore
- Familiarity with AI-powered product features — conversational AI, intelligent assistants, or ML-driven personalization
