The Product Manager is responsible for leading the full product lifecycle management of the Gems-Setra brand across the China and SEA market. This strategic role drives the execution of the "In region for region" growth strategy by identifying market opportunities, developing localized product solutions, and accelerating business growth across key target segments including Semiconductor, Data Centers Liquid Cooling, Off-Highway Vehicles, Critical environment and Renewable Energy.

The Product Manager serves as the voice of the customer and business owner for the assigned product portfolio, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Global Product Management teams to define product strategy, execute localization initiatives, drive new product development (NPD), and deliver sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion.

ESSENTITAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Lifecycle Management & Localization Strategy

• End-to-End Lifecycle: Own the full product lifecycle from initial idea generation, definition, and localization execution to the commercial launch for pressure, level, flow, temperature, and vacuum measurement instrumentation.
• Local Production & NPD Engagement: Act as the primary commercial window and bridge between local sales, local R&D/operations, and global headquarters during development and local production line implementation initiatives.
• Lean Portfolio Management: Participate actively in China and global business strategy planning, utilizing Lean Portfolio Management processes to analyze market segment dynamics and optimize product line health.

2. Deep Customer Insight & Value Creation (Voice of Customer)

• Go to Gemba: Regularly visit end-users, distributors, and OEM accounts at their actual worksites (Gemba) to deeply understand customer workflows, engineering challenges, and operational equipment setups.
• VOC Transformation: Conduct intensive, structured "Voice of Customer" (VOC) research to capture critical pain points and translate them directly into actionable engineering specifications for new or localized products.
• Value Positioning: Highlight clear product differentiations, unique value propositions, and competitive advantages to establish strong pricing and application positioning in the market.

3. Go-To-Market Execution & Commercial Enablement

• GTM Execution: Define, deploy, and execute effective Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to aggressively grow market share in target industrial and high-tech verticals.
• Revenue & Growth Management: Support annual business planning, forecasting and growth initiatives. Drive market share expansion and revenue growth through strategic product initiatives and targeted market development programs.
• Pricing & Profitability: Develop pricing strategies based on market dynamics, customer value and competitive landscape. Monitor product profitability and recommend actions to optimize margins and business performance.
• Sales Enablement: Create product value propositions, sales tools, and training materials. Deliver product training and technical-commercial support to sales teams, channel partners and key customers.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams involving Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Product Management. Influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization to drive alignment and execution
• Product Launch Excellence: Lead new product launch planning and execution, including commercialization plans, customer communication, channel readiness, and adoption tracking. Establish KPIs to measure launch effectiveness and market success.

4. Commercial Enablement & Cross-functional Leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical discipline; MBA is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Application Engineering, or Business Development within industrial automation, instrumentation, sensors, process control, or related industries.
• Solid knowledge of pressure, level, flow, temperature control, or other industrial sensing and measurement technologies.
• Experience in product localization, new product development (NPD), and market development is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen and commercial mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
• Strategic and analytical thinker, capable of translating customer insights and market trends into actionable product strategies.
• Innovative, customer-focused, and highly curious, with a strong ability and willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, teamwork, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support customers, business development activities, and industry events.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
