Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior working experience on Identity, Access management, Security or privacy.
- Enterprise products, infrastructure or systems experience.
- Strong experience in creating and driving product goal, strategic product roadmaps, and product launch.
- Understanding of the cloud ecosystem, markets, and competition in depth.

As a Product Manager with Cloud Protection Platform and Products, you will be responsible for leading and managing Google Cloud Security products and solutions. You will define and deliver a compelling roadmap for the next phase of cloud security offerings and lead through the execution cycle. - Be experienced for setting up and trying out cloud products, to better understand and arrive at opportunity areas.
- Generate high-level insights from formative research, market gaps or technical insights to arrive at product requirements.
- Understand complex technologies and customer use cases to arrive at insights for driving customer experience with Google cloud products.
- Be the customer advocate, understand needs, and pain points in the hybrid cloud space to influence technical priorities and business strategy.
- Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the right technology solution and a reasonable implementation schedule.
