About the team and role

Global Fraud Solutions

The team provides decision support solutions to address business objectives in risk prevention and fraud detection. We deliver software solutions and offer client support using our expertise and a client-focused approach.

Product Manager

Reporting into the Sr. Product Manager, the Product Manager will drive the strategic direction of GBG’s Predator and Instinct fraud detection platforms. With strong product management experience, you will own the roadmap, shape prioritisation decisions and long-range modernization phases, and bridge the gap between customer needs, engineering capabilities, and commercial objectives. You will champion the voice of our banking and fintech customers while navigating the complexities of incremental platform modernization.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain the GFS product roadmap across tactical and modernization workstreams,
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and market trends to influence product decisions and strategy.
  • Engage directly with banking and financial services customers to capture pain points, validate priorities and translate these into actionable product requirements.
  • Work with Product Owners to lead product discovery and requirements definition for GFS product suite. Work closely with engineering, pre-sales, business development and customer success teams.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision making relying on analytics, market research and competitor analysis to guide prioritization and measure success.
  • Work with Product leadership team to establish and drive relevant cadences within the Product and Delivery lifecycle such as Product Council/Committee, Roadmap Planning, Prioritization meetings, Business Canvas Development, Release/Sprint Planning, grooming, daily standups, sprint reviews, demo’s, showcases and retrospectives etc.
  • Strong experience with AGILE delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Work with PO’s to drive release planning and sprint-level prioritisation working alongside Agile squads, ensuring commitments are realistic and delivery is on track.
  • Develop compelling business cases and obtain buy-in from executive stakeholders, including Product Committee and C-suite.
  • Monitor market trends in fraud detection, AML, and banking technology to maintain competitive product positioning.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and professional services teams to support deal cycles and manage customer expectation-setting.
  • Produce and communicate product updates, release notes, and roadmap communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in Go to Market activities to support new releases, feature enhancements etc.

Skills we’re looking for

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience of product management experience, preferably in fraud detection, AML, financial crime compliance, or broader banking/fintech technology.
  • Demonstrated success in owning and scaling product portfolios in a product-led organization.
  • Obsessed with customer satisfaction in order to create exceptional product capabilities and User Experiences by understanding and anticipating customer needs.
  • Expertise in managing product roadmaps, backlogs, grooming and release planning.
  • Familiarity with common Product development and AGILE delivery tools such as Miro, Trello, Jira, Confluence, Figma etc.
  • Deep understanding of financial services regulations, data privacy, and security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) across various markets.
  • Proficiency with data and product analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Optimizely).
  • Experienced in navigating complex stakeholder environments, including compliance, legal, and financial operations. Able to negotiate, understand trade-offs and achieve alignment.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge in system and data architecture, microservices, API-first approach, security and compliance, performance optimization, technical debt, tooling and frameworks in order to better collaborate with Engineering teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy to understand pricing models, customer segmentation strategies, value proposition design, subscription management strategies, business case development and other relevant Product P&L levers.
  • Deep understanding of fraud monitoring workflows, transaction risk scoring, and rule engine-based decisioning systems is a major plus.
  • Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software architecture patterns (microservices, API-first, event-driven design).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills — able to influence and align across engineering, sales, customer success, and executive leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a track record of leveraging customer insights to drive product decisions.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, transformational environment.
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach, valuing diverse perspectives across global teams.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.
  • Self-starter who can independently drive workstreams while remaining responsive to shifting priorities.
