About the Role
We are looking for a highly technical Product Manager to help build the next generation of lending infrastructure for financial institutions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely with customers, engineers, and leadership to define, build, and scale enterprise-grade fintech products.
This is a highly collaborative, forward-deployed product role. You'll spend time with design partners and banks to understand real-world workflows, translate business needs into technical requirements, and work hand-in-hand with engineering to deliver exceptional products.
We're looking for someone who combines strong product instincts with technical depth and enjoys solving complex backend problems while delivering intuitive user experiences.
Location
- San Francisco, CA
- 5 days onsite
- Relocation assistance may be available for exceptional candidates.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
- H-1B transfers and TN visas are supported. Other visa types will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation
- $170,000 – $215,000 base salary (flexible for exceptional candidates)

What You'll Do
First 60 Days
- Become an expert on our lending platform and product development process.
- Take ownership of one or two core product features.
- Write detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), technical specifications, and product documentation.
- Work closely with Engineering to understand implementation details and product architecture.
- Build relationships with customers, design partners, and internal stakeholders.
Long-Term Responsibilities
- Own significant areas of the product roadmap from strategy through execution.
- Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements for engineering.
- Drive feature prioritization and product planning across multiple stakeholders.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs and partner with Engineering on implementation decisions.
- Work directly with customers—including banks and financial institutions—to gather feedback and improve products.
- Partner with Design and Engineering to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Continuously improve product quality through iteration, measurement, and customer feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of Product Management or equivalent cross-functional product experience.
- Strong technical background, ideally beginning your career as a:
- Software Engineer
- Backend Engineer
- Platform Engineer
- Technical Solutions Engineer
- Or another highly technical role
- Experience building B2B software products with complex backend systems.
- Experience working closely with software engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Strong experience writing:
- Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
- Functional specifications
- Product documentation
- Technical requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech, particularly:
- Small & Medium Business (SMB) Lending
- Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Banking Infrastructure
- Payments
- Financial Platforms
- Experience at high-growth startups (Series C–D preferred).
- Experience at leading technology companies with strong product cultures.
- Exposure to enterprise software and B2B platforms.
- Strong understanding of both backend architecture and user experience.
- Entrepreneurial or founder experience is a plus.
