Minimum Educational Req: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Product Management or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

The Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and managing products that serve clients within the financial services, insurance, or securities ecosystem. This role owns the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management, ensuring solutions meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
The Product Manager will work closely with technology, compliance, risk, marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver products that drive growth, enhance customer experience, and maintain adherence to industry regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong market and customer insight with the ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and scalable solutions.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
• Define and manage the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives and market opportunities within financial services, insurance, or securities sectors.
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept and business case development through launch, adoption, and ongoing enhancement.
• Prioritize product initiatives based on customer value, business impact, regulatory considerations, and technical feasibility.
Market & Industry Analysis
• Analyze industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies within financial services, insurance, and capital markets.
• Identify new opportunities for product innovation, market expansion, and differentiation.
• Conduct Total Addressable Market (TAM), segmentation, and opportunity analysis to support strategic product investments.
Customer & Stakeholder Insights
• Act as the voice of the customer, engaging with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand needs, workflows, and pain points.
• Translate customer feedback and market insights into product requirements and feature prioritization.
• Partner with sales, client success, and support teams to continuously improve product adoption and satisfaction.
Regulatory & Compliance Alignment
• Ensure product capabilities align with industry regulations, compliance standards, and risk management frameworks relevant to financial services and insurance products.
• Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to incorporate regulatory requirements into product design and development.
Cross-Functional Product Development
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and operational teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and product validation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Product Positioning & Go-to-Market
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to target financial services audiences.
• Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and feature releases.
• Enable internal teams through training, product documentation, and customer-facing materials.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
• Define and track key product metrics such as adoption, revenue impact, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to inform product and investment decisions.
Communication & Reporting
• Prepare and deliver product updates, roadmap presentations, and performance reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Clearly communicate product strategy, priorities, and progress across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications
• Strong understanding of financial services, insurance, or securities markets and products.
• Experience working within regulated industries with awareness of compliance, risk, and governance considerations.
• Demonstrated success managing complex products through the full lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable product insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, compliance, marketing, and sales.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies and product management tools.
