About the Team
Subscriptions make up a huge portion of Canvaâs overall revenue and are critical to unlocking paid value for millions of users. The External Subscriptions teams drive distribution of these subscriptions through Mobile app stores and 3rd party partners of all types including Telecommunications companies, SaaS products and Fintechs to reach hundreds of millions more people and make sure people can access Canvaâs paid features wherever they interact with us.
About the Role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Lead the end-to-end strategy and execution for launching, scaling, and optimising Canvaâs subscription products across mobile app stores (Apple, Google) and third-party partners internationally.
Own the product roadmap for mobile and third-party subscription capabilities, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and extensible across multiple markets and use cases.
Develop a repeatable platform foundation that allows Canva to efficiently integrate, manage, and optimize subscriptions across distribution partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Subscriptions, Monetisation, International, Legal, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure cohesive strategy and seamless execution.
Drive deep partnerships with Apple, Google, and strategic third-party subscription providersâco-creating future product opportunities, influencing partner roadmaps, and unlocking new growth channels.
You're probably a match if
You have 2â5 years of product management experience, ideally in Mobile, Payments or Integrations.
You have strong partnership and negotiation skills, with experience influencing external partners (ideally Apple, Google, or equivalent large-scale ecosystems).
You can design and evolve capabilities that are reusable, scalable, and flexible enough to power multiple product and market scenarios.
You understand how to design subscription experiences and systems that work across markets, payment preferences, and regulatory environments.
Youâre able to bring teams together, navigate ambiguity, and drive outcomes across product, engineering, partnerships, and go-to-market functions.
