Job Description
The Product Manager (EHS) is responsible for identifying customer and market needs, developing a 12-month strategic plan/roadmap that aligns to business goals, and planning and executing to that vision. They are a player/coach people leader managing a team of analysts within their defined product. The Product Manager closely partners with Engineering counterparts to solve complex business and client problems that drive solutions that delight our users and clients. The Product Manager manages product development deliverables, such as requirements documentation, analytics, design reviews, implementation, and delivery.
In addition, the Product Manager is expected to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data‑driven techniques throughout the product lifecycle to accelerate discovery, improve decision‑making, and deliver innovative, responsible, and compliant AI‑enabled solutions. This includes leading AI‑related research, experimentation, prototyping, and the creation of high‑quality product and governance artifacts aligned to Origami Risk standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Starting base pay for this role is between $120,000 and $145,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Establishes and enforces department processes and best practices across team members.
- Ensures team members have the necessary tools, knowledge, skills to execute upon assigned deliverables.
- Accountable for individual and team productivity measurements.
- Performs ongoing team member career development and performance evaluations in addition to annual performance review process.
Roadmaps and Product Strategy
- Owns the 12-month prioritized thoughtful product roadmap and associated feature-level backlog. Aligns team around delivery of high value business outcomes.
- Researches and identifies emerging market and technology needs to influence the market roadmap and promote innovation and differentiation.
- Uses data to validate roadmap prioritization and proposed solution builds. Ensures that we are solving the right problems and that these problems are worth solving.
- Builds deep business domain and user and client expertise to identify product and market opportunities.
- Acts as the subject matter expert for their assigned product and market.
AI & Data-Driven Product Development
- Applies AI-assisted tools and techniques across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including discovery, research synthesis, opportunity sizing, roadmap planning, prototyping, and delivery to improve product quality and speed to value.
- Leads AI-informed product discovery by partnering with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, validate customer problems, and assess feasibility, risk, and impact of AI-enabled solutions.
- Oversees AI experimentation and prototyping efforts to validate assumptions, measure outcomes, and inform roadmap decisions before full-scale investment.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure AI solutions are designed and implemented following best practices and corporate policies.
- Ensures appropriate human-in-the-loop decision making, explainability, transparency, and monitoring are considered in AI-enable product features where applicable.
- Uses, data, analytics, experimentation results, and AI-generated insights to continuously evaluate product performance, inform prioritization, and optimize outcomes.
Requirement Creation
- Documents requirements in the form of user stories, translating business requirements into technical requirements, to create a shared understanding with Engineering teams.
- Validates team’s product & engineering artifacts (Requirement Documents, Build Tasks, Visual Collaboration documents, design documents, etc.) to ensure risks to value, viability, feasibility, and usability are addressed upfront.
Backlog Maintenance, Prioritization, and Engineering Team Support
- Participates in annual and quarterly release planning activities, driving direction and prioritization for each quarter.
- Executes against strong time management and planning to ensure adequate time is allotted for work to move through product life-cycle inclusive of discovery, requirements, design, and architecture.
- Serves as the product owner of the scrum team to plan the work of the team and resolve in-sprint issues.
- Acts as a ruthless prioritizer, utilizing product prioritization framework to support constantly prioritized roadmap and backlog while balancing the needs of clients and stakeholders.
- Performs necessary backlog maintenance to support health, such as identifying escalated feature or bug requests and preparing them for upcoming sprints.
- Serves as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements and drives the team’s refinement ceremony.
- Performs functional testing and confirm sprint demos to ensure delivery of quality software.
Business Partnership
- Partners with stakeholders across the organization to align to transparent strategic long-term roadmaps and ensure delivery of the aligned product outcomes.
- Partners with marketing and operations to provide market and product responses to RFIs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business, liberal arts, science, or engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, including owning a product roadmap and driving Agile processes.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a high attention to detail
- Business acumen to identify opportunities, facilitate strategic planning, and use data and storytelling to influence.
- Ability to balance short term needs with long-term strategy.
- Strong relationship building skills, including an ability to influence stakeholders and scrum team members.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization.
- Experience overseeing all or some phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Experience working in agile methodologies and working on an agile team.
- Prior EHS experience strongly preferred.
