Are you an experienced Freelance Product Manager based in Continental Portugal looking to gain experience in a team of highly-skilled, top-talent innovators while working on multiple products in a range of industries?

As a Product Manager, you will be working closely with entrepreneurs as if you were their co-founder. You’ll bring a lean management perspective to help them prioritize and focus on the right features at each time. To prioritize, you will act as the orchestrator of the product vision and need to have in-depth business knowledge.

You’ll then merge that with the User Experience vision keeping in mind the technology impact of those decisions in demanding web projects.

You won’t be alone working with these cutting-edge technologies. You’ll be among a cross-functional team of seasoned Altarions with expertise in a multitude of sectors, from fintech and marketplace to AI and IoT.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Product Manager, you’ll be:

• Taking the wheel with new clients as the Product Manager;

• Managing complex technical products from day one. In some cases within a product team, and other cases you will need to take full ownership and drive the product direction with full autonomy;

• Independently managing multiple products at the same time, organizing the process for different stakeholders – clients, developers, and designers.

• Creating and maintaining a product backlog;

• Actively mitigating impediments impacting the successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals;

• Use your knowledge of the market, competition, and current trends to define innovative functional solutions to boost Product value.

The Hands-On Experience We Need You to Bring to the Table:

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a startup environment;

• 6+ years in the tech industry

• Proven track record of shipping user-facing applications/services with measurable outcomes

• Strong product sense in choosing problems that matter and cutting low-impact work

• Ability to write product requirements that engineers and designers can build from

• Excellent organizational and time management skills;

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Creative thinking with a vision;

• Fluid intelligence & abstract reasoning;

• Attention to detail;

• Ability to mix a structured process-centric approach with an out-of-the-box creative mindset;

• Fluency in both written and spoken English;

Our recruitment process:

• Recruiter interview (45 min)

• Skills Interview (60 min)

• Final interview w/ our CEO (~60min)
