As part of the Cranial Marketing Team, you’ll join a high-performing group with a collaborative, mission-driven culture. Together, we’re redefining what’s possible in neurosurgery, driving meaningful growth, helping patients, and shaping the future of healthcare. We’re looking for a Product Manager for Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Management to lead downstream marketing initiatives for one of Medtronic’s oldest portfolios, serving Hydrocephalus and Neurological Critical Care conditions. You’ll develop and execute strategic marketing plans, manage pricing and budget, and craft compelling stories that resonate with customers and leadership alike. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Drive strategic marketing planning and execution for the product portfolio, aligned with business objectives and market needs.

  • Manage the product lifecycle, including launches, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life strategies.

  • Develop and execute market strategies and campaigns to drive demand and ensure a consistent customer journey.

  • Partner closely with Sales to support demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and commercial effectiveness.

  • Develop value propositions grounded in market insights, clinical evidence, and competitive analysis.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Pricing, Supply Chain, CST Operations, Regulatory, and Quality, among others.

  • Monitor market performance and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize portfolio results.

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing plan for demand generation, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategy.

  • Execute marketing programs focused on customer acquisition, retention, and integrating voice-of-customer insights.

  • Lead event and convention marketing efforts to elevate brand presence and engage key audiences.

  • Prepare and present compelling, data-driven updates to leadership using strategic storytelling to drive alignment and action.

  • Travel requirement: Up to 30% 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in a related field.

  • Experience with neurosurgical procedures, in particular Hydrocephalus shunt placement, EVD placement, and intensive care unit.

  • Experience in downstream marketing for long-term implantable medical devices.

  • Experience with neurosurgical procedures, such as brain tumor removal, deep brain stimulation, among others, and with surgical navigation technologies and robotics.

  • Operating room exposure.

  • Understanding of material science and its interaction with human and brain anatomy.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven effectiveness in multidisciplinary teams and strong relationship-building skills.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance,Health Savings Account,Healthcare Flexible Spending Account,Life insurance, Long-term disability leave,Dependent daycare spending account,Tuition assistance/reimbursement, andSimple Steps (global well-being program).
