What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will take a hands-on
    approach to understand process and product capabilities and how they
    transfer to customer needs with focus markets of aerospace and energy
  • You will collaborate with
    engineering, production and commercial to drive priorities and decision
    making for the product line.
  • You will work at our main materials site part
    of a cross-functional team to ensure strategies and projects are aligned
    with the correct resources and market objectives.
  • Further you will understand
    the product line marketplace, customer needs, technical alternatives,
    demand drivers, industry capacity, market share and competitor landscape
  • You will actively
    contribute to product presentations, marketing materials and support the
    positioning of our products toward customers and internal stakeholders
  • Additionally, you will utilize your technical skills and experience to engage with key internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making
  • You will manage product
    allocation, demand planning, scheduling, specifications, and related
    product data
  • Drive performance
    improvements, overall product line health using KPIs, operational
    feedback, and structured lessons-learned processes
  • Define and evolve the
    long-term product vision and roadmap for ceramics in-line with global
    business objectives, new product development (NPD), regional needs, and
    industry trends

What makes you great

  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree in
    Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field
    required, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred
  • Technical aptitude or engineering background
    is beneficial but not required
  • Background in materials with focus areas in
    aerospace and/or energy beneficial but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound business
    decisions and exercise strong judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to influence and lead
    cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability
    to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet business objectives
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as
    required
  • This role will be based in Indianapolis, IN and will be required to work on-site unless traveling. No remote work availability for this position
