Job Description

About Reap

Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement.

Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments.

Backed by leading investors including Acorn Pacific, Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.

Why Reap?

This role will own the end-to-end product workstream for launching and running Reap's card issuing infrastructure in European and African markets. This includes both entering new geographies and launching new card schemes alongside Reap's existing Visa programs. The role spans the full card issuing lifecycle — from market entry and scheme onboarding through operationalisation to BAU — and requires someone who understands how card programs work from the ground up: multi-scheme relationships, processor integrations, KYB/KYC, transaction processing, compliance, and card logistics.

You will be Reap's first product hire dedicated to EU and African expansion. You'll project manage new market launches and new scheme launches by coordinating across Core product teams, engineering, compliance, and operations — then own the market post-launch, bringing Reap's full product suite to the region and managing ongoing scheme, regulatory, and compliance obligations.

What You’ll Do
New Market & Scheme Expansion
  • Own the end-to-end product workstream for launching Reap's card issuing infrastructure into European and African markets — from regulatory readiness through processor integration to first client live

  • Lead the launch of new card schemes in your markets — owning the scheme onboarding process, program setup, and BIN acquisition

  • Build market requirements documents covering the full card issuing stack: scheme approvals, processor integration, KYB/KYC, transaction processing, AML monitoring, card provisioning, and shipping

  • Project manage the expansion across cross-functional teams — Risk, Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Onboarding, Core Product, and Engineering. You define what needs to be built and drive delivery to timeline across all workstreams

  • Own the go-live checklist for each market and scheme — from scheme approval to first test transaction to first client processing

Market Operationalisation & BAU
  • Once a market launches, own the transition from MVP to full capability — closing feature gaps, enabling deferred capabilities, and responding to early client feedback

  • Own the ongoing BAU for your markets — you launched them, you run them

  • Work with Core product teams to bring Reap's full product suite to your markets

  • Own market-specific risk and compliance issues — from local AML requirements and country restriction policy changes to scheme audit responses and remediation items

  • Track and respond to ongoing regulatory changes, scheme rule updates, and processor requirement changes across all schemes operating in each market

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of product management experience in card issuing, with direct involvement in launching card programmes in new markets or jurisdictions

  • End-to-end familiarity with the card issuing stack — you understand how scheme relationships, processor integrations, BIN management, KYB/KYC, transaction processing, fraud monitoring, settlement, card provisioning, and shipping all fit together as one system

  • Has experience working with card schemes (Visa and/or Mastercard) — you understand scheme processes, programme rules, scheme compliance reporting, and the dynamics of getting a new BIN live in a region

  • Has managed processor relationships — you've integrated with at least one card processor and understand the moving parts between issuers, processors, and networks

  • A strong product operator — this role is as much about project management as it is about product strategy. You'll be coordinating across multiple PMs, engineering teams, compliance, and external partners simultaneously across timezones. You keep the trains running without micromanaging, and you're energised by the operational rigour of getting a market from zero to live

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across timezones — you'll be the EU/Africa timezone anchor for a team that spans APAC and the Americas; you need to be a strong async communicator and proactive about surfacing blockers before they become crises

  • Strong written communication — ability to produce clear market requirements docs, scheme compliance responses, and status updates that work across timezones and audiences

Nice to Have
  • You have launched a card program into a new market or launched a new scheme — you've been through the full cycle from regulatory approval to first live transaction and know what breaks along the way

  • Exposure to CaaS (Card-as-a-Service) or BIN Sponsorship program management for B2B clients

  • Background at a card company or a card-issuing fintech

  • You are comfortable with AI tooling and consistently leverage them to boost the productivity of yourself and team around you

Desired Attributes
  • Strong product operator — you take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. You're as comfortable building a go-live tracker and chasing blockers across 5 workstreams as you are writing a market requirements doc

  • Builder in uncharted territory — Reap's EU and Africa presence is being built from scratch; you create structure and playbooks where none exist

  • Comfortable with ambiguity — regulatory environments, scheme relationships, and processor capabilities vary widely across your markets; you adapt quickly and make progress despite incomplete information

  • Strong cross-functional communicator — you translate fluidly between technical, regulatory, and business contexts across timezones

Why You'll Love it Here
  • A high-impact role in a rapidly growing fintech company.

  • Flexible remote work environment with a global, collaborative team.

  • Insurance coverage after probation.

  • Reap Card stipend.

  • Use of AI tools at work — and the space to learn, experiment, and grow with them.

  • A culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
