About the role
Are you passionate about driving growth and innovation in wastewater treatment technology? We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive accretive profitable growth of the AnoxKaldnes MBBR technology portfolio, including MBBR, Hybas, AnitaMox, eXeno, and Cella.
In this dynamic role, you'll sit at the intersection of technology, market intelligence, supply chain, and commercial strategy, working closely with the Aerobic Wastewater Technologies Leader to define and execute the technology strategy.
Strategy & Innovation
Curate and maintain the technology roadmap for the AnoxKaldnes MBBR portfolio
Define and drive the innovation roadmap by identifying gaps and opportunities through market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive analysis
Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to anticipate future technology needs
Work closely with the Aerobic Wastewater Technologies Leader to define technology and business strategy
Commercialization & Go-to-Market
Lead the commercialization of new technologies and offers, from core offering definition through launch and adoption tracking
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and launch plans
Develop compelling marketing messaging and positioning for the technology portfolio; collaborate with marketing and communications functions to produce impactful marketing content and campaigns
Champion new technology introductions and represent the portfolio at industry conferences, customer events, and technical forums
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work transversally across the organization—engaging with sales, engineering, R&D, marketing, communications, regional teams, and other business lines (EPP, MWIS)
Collaborate with regions to understand local market needs and ensure global relevance with local applicability
Establish and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including customers, industry partners, research institutions, and technology collaborators
Enable the commercial organization through training, technical content, and thought leadership
Business Operations
Support the development of technology training and educational programs for internal teams and external clients
Contribute to business planning processes, including annual strategic planning and investment prioritization
Provide timely reporting and strategic recommendations to senior management
Maintain accurate documentation of technology roadmaps, innovation pipelines, and commercialization plans
Education
Minimum Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent professional experience
MBA or business-related qualification is an asset
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in water/wastewater treatment, including familiarity with biological treatment technologies (MBR, MBBR, MABR, BAF, or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience in technology management, product management, or innovation management roles
Experience developing and executing technology or product roadmaps
Experience with commercialization of new technologies or products, including go-to-market strategy development
Experience working in a matrix or transversal organizational structure
Experience engaging with regional or global teams across multiple markets
Experience with marketing strategy and technical communication
Language Skills
Written and oral English proficiency required
Other languages encouraged

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
