Our Business Development team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig as a Product Manager or Platform Manager

In this role you will report directly to the Head of Technology and Implementation under the Chief Business Development Office and lead the design, delivery, and management of External APIs to be published on the EWB API Portal. You will also oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the platforms components and features to ensure a scalable, secure, and high-performing API ecosystem.

What the role will entail

• Own and drive the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the banks API product portfolio and API Portal, ensuring alignment with the overall Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) strategy and business objectives.
• Lead the design, enhancement, and evolution of External APIs and portal features, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, reusable, and fit-for-purpose solutions in close collaboration with Product, IT, Architecture, Engineering, and UX teams.
• Oversee implementation planning and execution of API and platform initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and seamless integration across internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce governance, standards, and best practices across APIs and portal capabilities, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture requirements, including proper documentation, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Own the developer and partner experience within the API Portal, driving usability, efficient onboarding, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvement through data insights and stakeholder feedback.
• Act as the central coordination point for API and platform-related enhancements, providing guidance to cross-functional teams and performing other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in product management, API management, or platform development roles, with exposure to API-driven or platform-based systems; experience in banking, fintech, or digital platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration concepts, and platform ecosystems, including familiarity with REST, API lifecycle management, developer portals, onboarding tools, and documentation standards.
• Proven ability to translate business and user requirements into clear technical and platform specifications, working closely with Engineering, Architecture, and UX teams to deliver scalable, client-facing solutions.
• Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, with a user-centric and detail-oriented mindset, structured and analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across business and technical stakeholders.
