Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

• To manage Group Health and Group Personal Accident quotes / referrals
• Maintain underwriting process consistency and adherence for better TAT for quote submission and issue resolution relating to Group A&H.
• System Requirement gathering, UAT and co-ordination with IT team for development of Health products
• Providing Underwriting inputs in Product Development & revision for Group Policies
• Coordinating with Operations and Claims for Inception, Policy Servicing and Claims settlement
• Coordination with local sales team in understanding and developing the risk profile of group policies for underwriting within the set guidelines.

• To analyse and review the portfolio.
• To work on renewals
• To develop working relationships with Intermediaries

Competencies:

• Underwriting Skills for Group Health , Group Personal Accident Products
• Knowledge of Health Insurance products and processes.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Working knowledge of IT system
• Working in team with Sales, IT and operations
• Market intelligence
• Good communication skill

Experience:

Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in Underwriting role in General Insurance Company.

Qualifications

Minimum – Bachelor Degree

Preferred : Post Graduate Degree
