Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Manager, Accounts in Canada.

This role sits at the core of a regulated, API-driven brokerage platform, where you will own a critical part of the accounts infrastructure powering millions of brokerage accounts globally. You will focus deeply on one domain within the accounts stack—such as KYC and identity verification, account structures, or multi-account systems—while shaping the developer experience for partners who build directly on top of these APIs. Working at the intersection of product, engineering, compliance, and legal, you will define and ship scalable account capabilities that must meet strict regulatory standards while remaining simple for developers to integrate. Your impact will be measured by real-world adoption, partner success, and production usage rather than feature output alone. This is a high-ownership role in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment where product decisions directly influence financial infrastructure at scale.

Accountabilities:

Own and evolve a core accounts domain within a regulated brokerage platform, driving product strategy, API design, and adoption across global partners and developers.

  • Take full ownership of a specific accounts surface such as KYC/identity verification, account types, or multi-account structures, from discovery through production rollout.
  • Conduct partner and customer discovery to understand integration constraints and translate insights into a clear, prioritized product roadmap.
  • Define API contracts, write detailed PRDs, and collaborate closely with engineering to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions.
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure all product decisions meet regulatory requirements while maintaining usability for developers.
  • Improve onboarding, documentation, SDK usability, and operational workflows to increase adoption and reduce friction for partners.
  • Track and analyze key metrics such as onboarding funnel performance, API adoption, time-to-first-funded-account, and verification success rates.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and engineering to improve automation, exception handling, and platform efficiency.
  • Communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Requirements:
Strong experience in product management or technical roles within fintech, brokerage, payments, or identity infrastructure, with proven ability to ship API-driven products at scale in regulated environments.

    • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or startup environments.
    • Proven ownership of at least one accounts or identity-related product area such as KYC, account structures, or identity verification systems.
    • Experience building and shipping B2B API or SDK products where developers and partners are the primary users.
    • Strong understanding of regulated environments, including compliance, KYC/AML, and identity verification workflows.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with legal, compliance, engineering, and operations teams.
    • Experience using data tools such as SQL and BI platforms to drive product decisions.
    • Strong business judgment and ability to balance technical constraints, regulatory requirements, and partner needs.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary and stock options
      • Comprehensive health benefits
      • Remote-first work environment with flexibility across North America
      • Home-office setup stipend (USD 500)
      • Monthly stipend (USD 150 via Brex Card)
      • Opportunity to work on high-scale financial infrastructure used globally
      • Professional development support including training and conferences
      • Inclusive, global, engineering-driven culture
