About the Role

As a Product Manager at DEUNA, you own a product line end to end. You define what success looks like, why it matters, and you make sure your team is working on the highest-value problems first. You sit at the intersection of customers, commercial teams, and engineering. You turn client needs and market signals into a clear strategy and roadmap, and you turn that roadmap into requirements your engineering team can actually build against. You own the outcome, not just the launch: you track how your product performs after it ships and drive the next iteration.

This role works directly with the Product Owner who leads the company’s frontend product portfolio. You will drive initiatives end to end, from identifying insights and opportunities through requirements, delivery, and measuring impact. A significant part of the role will focus on our checkout experience, so a strong data orientation is essential: you’ll be expected to identify opportunities through data and turn them into product initiatives, rather than simply executing against a backlog.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in product management or a related role with direct product ownership (e.g., technical program management, or a business/strategy role that included owning a roadmap), ideally in fintech, payments, or e-commerce.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with frontend/product metrics
• A track record of taking a product from strategy through launch, and iterating based on results.
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can write clear requirements and influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers on technical trade-offs; you don't need to write code, but you understand APIs, data, and system constraints well enough to make good calls.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach to requirements gathering and documentation.
• Advanced or native-level English.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics) or equivalent practical

What You'll Do

Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and maintain the strategy and roadmap for your initiatives, grounded in customer needs, market landscape, and business objectives.
• Set clear, measurable success metrics and use them to prioritize and validate decisions.
• Proactively identify and propose new initiatives instead of only reacting to inbound requests; assess incoming asks against strategy and say no to low-value work, with a clear "why."

Execution & Delivery

• Translate strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria engineering can build against.
• Own and prioritize the backlog so the team is always working on the highest-impact items.
• Partner with engineering and QA throughout the build to keep scope, quality, and timelines aligned.
• Own outcomes after launch — track performance, diagnose gaps, and drive the next iteration.
• Ensure every new capability ships properly instrumented, so its impact is measurable from day one.

Data-Driven Decisions

• Mine our checkout and product analytics regularly — not just when a stakeholder asks — to surface conversion opportunities and problems before they're reported to you.
• Build your own analysis in our product analytics tooling (Amplitude): funnels, cohorts, and behavioral segmentation, rather than relying on someone else to hand you the numbers.
• Turn data findings into a prioritized, structured initiative with an expected impact, not just an observation.
• Define the reporting and dashboards you need to track your product's health on an ongoing basis.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data together to validate opportunities and measure impact after launch.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design/UX, Commercial, Customer Success, and Data teams to align on priorities and dependencies.
• Represent the customer and the business case internally, and represent the roadmap and its constraints externally.
• Communicate progress, trade-offs, and results clearly to stakeholders, including leadership.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Support commercial and integration teams during discovery, RFI/RFP, and onboarding conversations that touch your product area.

Nice to Have

• SQL or another query language, to pull and shape your own data beyond what the analytics tool exposes out of the box.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (VTEX, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento/Adobe Commerce) or payment gateways and PSPs.
• Experience with Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence) and ceremonies.
• Spanish fluency, and direct client-facing experience in US and LATAM markets.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
