How You'll Create Impact

As a Product Manager - Data Platforms, you will define and execute the strategy for the shared data capabilities that power Connected Health products and analytics. You will work across digital health applications, surgical technologies, smart implants, connected devices, and enterprise systems to make data more accessible, reliable, interoperable, and actionable. You will partner with software development, data science, cybersecurity, privacy, clinical, regulatory, and business teams to develop scalable data products and platform capabilities. This role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts and diverse stakeholder needs into a clear platform vision, prioritized roadmap, and measurable business and customer outcomes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and execution of the Connected Health product strategy and roadmap in alignment with broader business objectives.
• Define shared data capabilities that support Connected Health products, including data ingestion, integration, storage, processing, governance, interoperability, APIs, reporting, and analytics enablement.
• Conduct user research, segmentation, journey mapping, and clinical needs assessments to identify opportunities that improve patient, surgeon, and care-team experiences.
• Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and technology shifts to inform product positioning and long-term strategy.
• Drive product ideation, capability prioritization, and roadmap planning to balance innovation with execution.
• Develop clear business cases, product briefs, and requirements that translate user needs and business goals into actionable development plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including UX, data science, software development, clinical, regulatory, operations, sales, and marketing—to deliver high-quality products from concept through global launch.
• Manage scope and prioritization decisions to ensure timely delivery of roadmap commitments while maintaining alignment with customer and business outcomes.
• Partner with marketing to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and engagement.
• Contribute to Connected Health product management best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.

Your Background

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, data science, healthcare informatics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, data products, digital health, healthcare technology, enterprise software, or a related field.
• Experience defining and managing product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and delivery plans for data platforms, analytics products, APIs, integrations, or other technically complex capabilities.
• Demonstrated success managing products through the full lifecycle—from strategy and roadmap development to launch and post-market optimization.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including engineering, clinical, marketing, regulatory, and operations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or healthcare discipline.
• Familiarity with Stanford Biodesign or Design Thinking methodologies for user-centered innovation, problem framing, and need validation.
• Certified with SAFe Agile framework or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience using modern product management and design tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or equivalent systems for backlog management and design collaboration.
• Experience developing clinical claims, value propositions, and product positioning for regulated or evidence-based products.
• Background in product launches, downstream marketing, and global rollout planning.

Location / Travel

Remote role with approximately 10–20 % travel for internal meetings, user interviews, and customer or industry events.

Expected annual salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + bonus
